What an exciting September for VABA!
For grades 5, 6, 7, 8, the VDBL winter league evaluations are well underway! Fall Skills Academies have begun (on Sunday afternoons), and Junior League sign-ups continue!
For the past two weekends, hundreds of our local youth, boys and girls, have come and participated in our VDBL evaluations. We thank you for coming and displaying your gifts! We have completed three evaluations in September, and for city residents, we will have evaluations on September 27 (boys) and 29 (girls. If you have missed these evaluations, please call (434-242-7729) or email us today! We may be able to find you a roster spot on a team!
Last Sunday, our Fall Skills Academy began with a bang! Over 40+ kids filled the gym as our instructors began the developmental process for the upcoming season. Ball-handling, shooting, and offensive skills were the emphasis - and the gym was electric!! For all those who attended - great job! For all those interested in coming this Sunday, you may sign up today!
For the Junior Basketball League (grades 1-2, 3-4) teams are beginning to fill fast! Evaluation dates will be in October, and have yet to be announced - but these dates will be posted soon!
