PROGRAMMING INFORMATION & RULES
PURPOSE: to provide local-area AAU teams an affordable opportunity to play against local competition DURING the week in order to gain more game-experience without extensive weekend travel.
COST: $350/team (= 8 games)
FEATURES:
1. A minimum of 8 games (2 games per week for three weeks).
2. All games are officiated by paid, VHSL certified officials
3. Gym supervision (Ernest Chambers is AAU Summer League Supervisor)
4. Local high school (the Covenant School – off 64, Exit 121 / 5th street Extended in Charlottesville)

3. Coaches are responsible for turning/mailing in “Team Rosters” or signing up online
ROSTERS/DIVISIONS
1. There are four (4) divisions in “VABA AAU Summer League”
a. Divisions: U11, U12, U13, U14
2. WE WILL ONLY BE TAKING FOUR (4) TEAMS PER DIVISION – ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS
3. Players may not play on more than one team (one head coach and one assistant coach on bench)
GAMES/SCHEDULE
1. Each team plays a minimum of two (2) games per week
2. Game days are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays
a. Teams play either Mon/Thurs or Tues/Fri (will alternate each week)
3. Games are run on the hour at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm & 8:00 pm
4. Location: The Covenant Upper School (off 64, Exit 121 / 5th street Extended in Charlottesville)
TEAM ROSTER DEADLINE
1. There is no deadline, but "Team Rosters" & payments will be taken first-come, first-serve
