Julie’s dedication to fostering excellence extends beyond the basketball court and into the classroom, where she is an Instructional Supervisor for Augusta County Public Schools.

Julie’s journey in sports began at Wilson Memorial High School, where she excelled as a three-sport athlete. She earned numerous accolades, including Gatorade Rookie of the Year in basketball and Defensive Player of the Year in soccer. A leader both on and off the field, she served as team captain in multiple sports and capped her high school career with honors like Co-Most Valuable Player in basketball and multiple All-District and All-City/County selections.

Julie’s love for basketball continued at Eastern Mennonite University, where she played collegiately while pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Her experience as a collegiate athlete solidified her passion for sports as a transformative tool for building confidence, resilience, and leadership skills.
