Last week, VABA began promoting its dates and plan for 2021 Summer Camps.  This included an outdoor facility and required mask-wearing for all campers/coaches.  However, after sending this email, we received a great deal of feedback from very sincere VABA Families expressing credible concerns regarding the combination of heat, humidity, and mask-wearing.  While it seemed everyone appreciated VABA's attempt to replicate the Polar Bear Basketball League by conducting summer camp outdoors, the challenges of sweaty masks, humid air, and strenuous/aerobic activity brought about other safety concerns. 

VABA has elected to take its camps indoors in a cool, air-conditioned gym - however, all campers and coaches will remain masked (along with other COVID precautions and safety-measures).  VABA's maximum capacity for all camps will be reduced to only 40.    These will be fun, intimate basketball learning centers with a high level of close attention by our trained & knowledgeable VABA Coaches, including Coaches D'Alessandro, Wildy and Kirby!

2021 marks the 24-year anniversary that VABA has been running camps!  These are popular, dynamic programs and a unique combination of fun and quality, inspiring basketball teaching.  VABA Summer Camps usually fill fast - and, this will be especially true since we're limiting them to the first forty (40) campers!

On-line Summer Camp Registration opens on Sunday, March 14 @ 8:00 am! 
Again, programs will be limited to only 40 campers. 

These are some of the very best summer basketball camps in the country - and, they're in our backyard right here in Charlottesville, VA!  Exciting, fun and productive - great teaching and training by professional coaches!
