GREAT START TO THE WINTER SEASON: Thank you, Coaches & Volunteers!
Coaches training and certification, player evaluations, and Fall Skills Academy sessions were highlights to our fall season. After five weeks of team practice and two weekends of games, VABA is excited about the start of the winter season! With over 130 teams playing this winter, the VABA Team would like to thank and recognize the wonderful coaches and volunteers who make it possible to carry out our mission of "building character and shaping lives through the game of basketball."     |

VABA BRUINS SECOND (and FINAL) TRYOUT
The VABA Bruins Spring/Summer AAU-Travel Program is VABA's most popular spring program. We held our first tryout on December 18 and our second and final tryout for both girls and boys will be held on Saturday, January 8 (Grades 5-10) and Sunday, January 9 (Grades 2-4). If you were unable to take part in the first tryout, and you are interested in playing this spring/summer, please attend the January tryout. Please remember to wear a reversible jersey to the tryout!

SUMMER CAMP DATES ANNOUNCED-Early Bird Special
In 2021, VABA broke all attendance records for summer camp. Almost every week was SOLD OUT! VABA's dedicated and professional coaches love creating a positive, dynamic, and fun summer camp experience where learning the fundamentals of life and the game of basketball are the emphasis. Skill development and competitive team play are special features of VABA's seven-week summer offerings. Choose from a variety of programs including Skills Academies, Advanced Skill Camps, Specialty Mini-camps, Day Camps, and Mighty-Mites Camps. Summer camp registrations open February 1st. Early Bird Special (10% discount) to anyone who signs up between February 1- March 1st. Email info@playvaba.org for questions. We look forward to seeing you this summer! |
