Meet VABA's new Director of Girls Basketball, Sarah Pastorek and JBL-Girls Director, Caroline Wilke!


As we begin to prepare for the upcoming basketball season, VABA continues to take positive steps in building on its success, a success that has largely come from the quality of its staff.  Finding and attracting servant leaders with integrity, humility, compassion, a love of the game, a heart to learn, a desire to help teach and develop youth and impact our community is a top priority.  

VABA is very excited to announce that in late August, VABA added two key members to its team: Sarah Pastorek and Caroline Wilke.  Coach Pastorek has accepted the position of Director of Girls Basketball and Coach Wilke will assist Coach Pastorek while directing VABA's youngest girls program (the JBL 1-2).  Both come to VABA with extensive playing and coaching experience at a variety of levels, and both are committed to taking VABA's Girls Program to the next level!

Coach Pastorek, along with Coach Wilke, will be running an exciting FREE Girls Basketball Clinic on Sunday, September 18th @ Albemarle HS from 6:15 - 8:30 pm.  BE THERE AND TAKE PART IN IMPORTANT PRE-SEASON DRILL WORK, PLAY SOME 3-ON-3 AND 5-ON-5 AND JUST HAVE FUN AS WE GET READY FOR THE SEASON!  Girls, grades 5-8, are invited to attend and the clinic is open to anyone!  Those already signed up for the VDBL are required to attend as we prepare for the upcoming season.  (MORE INFO TO FOLLOW)
